12 cooperative wineries constitute this Club today, created to promote all of their best wines. Proud of their terroirs, 4,000 grape growers and special skills, they have selected this name to underscore their modern philosophy. These different actors promote BRANDS, all the while producing estate and chateau wines, and belong to the world of CO-OPS, which is more than ever, a hothouse of talent.

It is relatively simple to make a strong wine. Making a smooth wine is not difficult either. However, real expertise is required to rise to the formidable challenge of making a strong yet sophisticated, powerful yet charming wine. Research, knowledge, timely choices and constructive doubts are all part of achieving a sensory balance. Omniscience and empiricism are no longer the rule. Innovation is fuelled by ongoing research on varieties and the interaction between the external and internal components of wine. This blend of research and technical tools – machines working to benefit people – will lead to the end goal being achieved: the true essence of wine.
