Jubilation Le Pallet 2014 - Muscadet Sèvre & Maine

Jubilation Le Pallet was born in 2007 when the district AOCs in the Muscadet area became official. In addition to the special production requirements of these wines, potentially interesting pockets within the terroir were identified by growers and technicians to create this brand.

  • TERROIR : Soils are made up of slightly weathered intrusive rocks, including gabbro, granite and gneiss. Their early ripening and filtering nature limits the yield, ensures an uninterrupted growing cycle and produces perfectly matured grapes at harvest-time.
  • GRAPE VARIETY : Melon de Bourgogne 100 %
  • VITICULTURE : average age of vines 30 years.
  • VINIFICATION : Ten entirely undaunted vintners work together to make Jubilation by blending their best Le Pallet Cru parcels. Bottling after 18 months on lees breeding.
  • PRICE TTC FROM FRANCE : 10,30 € (DISTRIBUTION IN THE UK : MAJESTIC £11.99 )
  • TASTING NOTES : Golden color with green tints
Fairly intense and complex nose, evoking nectarines, fresh pineapple, well-ripened white fruit, aromatic herbs, nutmeg, white pepper, and a hint of cake. Frank and well balanced palate, with fruit, freshness and good acidity. Lasting lemon and mineral notes on the finish.
  • FOOD PAIRING : oysters, grilled fish, chicken tajine with dried fruit, ashy goat’s cheese.
