Lieu-Dit Au Pin 2014 - Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux

  • TERROIR : Clay and calcareous soil at Lieu-Dit Le Pin, in Anglade. Its situation at the top of the hillside ensures optimum sunshine exposure, good drainage and moderate hydric stress.
  • GRAPE VARIETY : Merlot 100 %
  • VINIFICATION : Traditional winemaking. The wine undergoes a pre-fermentation cold maceration, followed by an alcoholic fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, followed by a post-fermentation maceration with a delestage. After a 30-day vatting period, the wine is racked and placed into barrels (100% new French oak), where it is matured for 15 months.
