Prestige du Président 2016 – Corse rosé
Prestige du Président rosé is elaborated from a night-time harvest, the skin of which is macerated to ensure freshness and finesse.
Its name – “President” evokes the cellar’s best wine, that was traditionally set aside for its president. As a result, its greatest wine has been transformed into a brand.
GRAPE VARIETY : Sciaccarellu 80 % à 90 %, + Syrah
VINIFICATION : Destemming, gentle skin maceration for 4 hours before pressing. Fermentation at low temperature between 14°C and 18°C for 3 weeks in order to keep the aromas.

TASTING NOTES : Pale pink coral color with blue tints, luminous.
Refined red berry aromas (wild strawberry), lemon, wild herbs (mint, thyme, aniseed) and white pepper.
Harmonious palate, achieving good balance between acidulated freshness and great maturity, refined and full-flavored, with nice fruit and white pepper on the finish.
FOOD PAIRING : at aperitif time, with prunes and bacon, sushi, prawns with fruit or a Thai sauce, grilled fish, fresh goat’s cheese, strawberry salad with mint.
